Adkontekst ads on Grono
Advertising network Adkontekst established cooperation with Grono.net in order to serve ads on the website. Since August Adkontekst advertisers can promote their products and services on one of the best-known social networking websites in Poland.
Grono.net enjoys 300 million page views per month and has over 2 million registered users. As part of the cooperation between Adkontekst and Grono, user interests and their discussions will be analyzed in detail to adjust ads to the preferences of target audience. This is to ensure the advertisers that their message is effectively targeted.
– The development of social networks results in context ad providers working on new non-standard forms of advertising, which help reach such very demanding target group as the users of such websites. Adjusting the advertising message to their needs as precisely as possible is a big technological challenge, which requires experience in contextual advertising – said Łukasz Ciechanek, Publisher Network Development Manager at Adkontekst.
The ads will be served both as the classic contextual boxes matching the subject of discussion between website users and as the Adkontekst Intertext – contextual ads displayed within articles or posts on discussion groups when the cursor hovers over a highlighted word. Intertext will be shown as text or as text with graphics (Intertext Exclusive). Ad colors were integrated with the layout of skins (color themes), which the website users select based on their preferences. At the same time the implemented algorithm enables the adjustment of ads without collecting private user data.
– The new ads on our web portal will be well-integrated, interesting, thematically matching and, above all, less intrusive for the users. Ultimately we want to completely abandon floating ads which can only annoy potential audience – adds Wojtek Sobczuk, co-creator of Grono.net.
Both parties are currently working to implement new non-standards forms and solutions to increase message effectiveness and improve communication between advertisers and Grono.net users.
